Our Approach

Our philosophy is simple. We take the freshest seafood, straight from the source: prepare it with the simplest ingredients and deliver the finished product right to your plate.

Our Story

Bill Bright is a successful commercial fisherman who has trolled up and down the Atlantic seaboard for over 30 years.  He owns two fishing vessels, the "Defiance" and the "Retriever". His boat, the "Defiance", is docked right behind Hooked Up.  His catch may include Tuna, Swordfish, and Mahi Mahi which is served at Hooked Up Seafood. Aside from supplying Hooked Up with fish, Bill sells most of it to restaurants in New York, Philly and Boston.

Our Seafood


We believe in eating locally.

Fresh local food has a noticeable difference in taste and that’s why we take pride in knowing the source of all of our products.

We want you to appreciate Jersey Fresh like we do.

Our blue claw crabs are caught in the Delaware Bay, steamed to perfection, and seasoned to your liking.

We take pride in our family grown little necks.

Our little neck clams are family grown on the coast of New Jersey, cooked in a savory lemon, garlic, and white wine sauce, and served with a freshly buttered & toasted roll.

We deliver food from boat to plate.

Our fried fish platters and seafood combos are breaded to order, fried to perfection, and plated with a mound of fries and homemade coleslaw. Lastly, our fresh off the boat tuna, Swordfish, and Mahi Mahi are caught by the owner himself, Bill Bright.  We sear or blacken each piece of fish to your liking, and beautifully plate with a side of your choice.
